Med Surg

The Medical-Surgical inpatient care unit provides care to patients of all ages from infants to geriatrics throughout the life span. The patient’s diagnosis may be medically or surgically related. Patients may be admitted and managed by one of the numerous professional and credentialed physicians or surgeons. Patients are admitted to the most appropriate category of care: observation, acute, skilled, observation, hospitality (private pay), hospice inpatient or hospice respite. Nursing care is provided by a group of qualified RN’s and certified nursing assistants who interface with multiple disciplines to assist patients to achieve their maximal level of health and wellness. Care is provided in a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and their families. The Med Surg staff is proud of their positive and progressive work environment and their focus on excellent service to patients, families and each other.

ICU

ICU/CCU provides care to all ages of the life spectrum, from newborn to geriatric. The care may include from illness to trauma. Physician coverage is provided by the family practice physicians, internal medicine, as well as an orthopedic and general surgeon. The ICU/CCU allows for Registered Nurses to provide close observation of a patient that is critically ill or injured. Our goal is to put our patients we serve as our #1 priority in providing quality care.

Specializations, Certifications, and Credentials:

All clinical staff in ICU are certified in ACLS.
